Gateway Baptist Church is an old fashion church that believes the Old Paths are the best paths. We believe that the King James Bible is Gods Perfect Word. We focus on the strengths of a family unit and understand from scripture that the man is to lead his household and be a blessing to his wife and children. It is our desire to see our people grow in the nurture and admonition of the Lord while staying clear of the worldly influence that has been so harmful to our generation.
The Bible instructs us in John 4:24 that God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. As New Testament Christians we believe this involves singing the old style gospel songs and hymns.
We have good Biblical teaching that promotes spiritual growth and will challenge you to be more like Christ in your everyday life. Led by the Holy Spirit, this involves uncompromising preaching that brings the principles and precepts of Gods Word in an understandable and clear way. This will result in Biblical knowledge that will train up men, women and children who can defend the truth of Gods Word. It will establish Godly homes that will bring good testimonies to the communities in which we live and serve.
